Looking for permanent position for an employer with opportunity for growth. Production Shop Manager (1998-Present) ? Scheduling jobs for shop in accordance with delivery dates, machine availability and outside vendor scheduling. Assign jobs to employees based on skills, deadlines, workload and Inventory ? Analyze all Bills of Materials and ensure proper control and flow of materials. Specific responsibilities include analyzing supplier quotes; procuring materials; performing timely corrective action for all rejected materials; expediting supplier activities; advising all departments on material status and shop order schedules; generating purchase requisitions; scheduling kitting of parts; ? Train new and current employees on new and existing machinery. Coordinate with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. Sets up machines and equipment, Performs activities of workers supervised, conducts performance reviews for all direct employees. Engineer (1985 to 1998) ? Design, layout and programming of all incoming work orders- Maintains time and production records. ? Included in this would be transformer enclosures, units for the medical community, robotics, Navy and Coast Guard ship interiors. ? Estimating quotes for all customers taking into account, labor, materials, hardware and any miscellaneous costs, also and including prototype design. ? Programmed Geopoint (Anderson O'Brien Software) since 1985, Amada 2D and 3D unfold since 1994. Cad key and Solid Works 2004 Sheetmetal Mechanic(1982-1985) ? Setting up and running various machines to include Strippit 3030 Press, Strippit FC1000 Turrett Press, Donewell Brake, Verson Brake, Shear, Spot welder, Lathe, Bridgeport and numerous other shop machines ? metal finishing,grinding,timesave,polish,DA lay-outs from blue prints to read all shop inspection tools(micrometer,caliper,ect.)
