Inquiry (采购产品): quartz tubing I am curious, can you melt sodium chloride inside a quartz tube, I am trying to use focused sunlight to melt the salt and then seperated it into sodium and chlorine. the quartz tubing wuld be part of the electrolysis cell. so far I have melted salt, but i am looking for material that will allow concentrated light in, allow the salt to reach 600 plus celcius and then seperate the salt inside the tube. Also, is it possilbe to attach the tubing to a metallic tube, say iron with gold or platium coating. I in the process of trying to use sodium as an energy storage system. thanks Rick Small **** Hidden Message ***** RICK SMALL BOX 3024 SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON P8T 1J8 CAN Company: SAM LAKE LIMITED E-mail: sarai@xplornet.com **** Hidden Message ***** sarai@xplornet.com
