Inquiry (采购产品): mold design We are a company that produces depleted uranium castings. The attached drawing is a unit that we are preparing to cast. This is the customer’s drawing generated by AutoCAD I believe. The depleted uranium is cast over the titanium “S” which is held in place in the mold cavity. We are in the process of evaluating data but it is our opinion that the depleted uranium metal shrinks approximately 7% when it transforms from liquid to solid. Therefore the mold cavity must be 7% larger in order to result in the part as per the drawing. If we can provide the solid model from which this drawing was based can you generate a configuration 7% (or a refined number) larger? We would then provide that information to the mold designer so that he could machine it into the mold. I would appreciate it if you could provide a cost and delivery for this service **** Hidden Message ***** Mel Lundberg 804 South Illinois Ave. Oak Ridge, TN 37922 USA Company: Manufacturing Sciences Corporation Phone: 865 481-0455 Fax: 865 481-3142 E-mail: mlundberg@energysolutions.com **** Hidden Message ***** mlundberg@energysolutions.com
