Inquiry (采购产品): Molded rubber edging I am designing outdoor access panels made of fiberglass for an industrial application. The panels vary in size but all are 2" thick. I envision a one-piece molded gasket surrounding the panels on 4 sides of the panel. The cross section of the gasket/edging would be C-Shaped with a vertical inside dimension of 2" with 3/4" horizontal flanges on top and bottom of the section. The gasket would be placed around the panel and stretched to allow installation on the panel with adhesive. Is this clear? I can send an AutoCAD preliminary sketch if need be. The volume may be fairly high in accordance with the following table: 2000 gaskets per year - 18.8125" x 43.625" panel size 4000 gaskets per year - 22.6875" x 43.625" panel size 6000 gaskets per year - 28.8125" x 43.625" panel size 1200 gaskets per year - 23.1875" x 43.625" panel size Please give me your best guess to the flexible alloy choice. The panels will be exposed to severe weathering with extreme temperature and moisture conditions and UV degradation, since the panels will be installed on building roofs. I would like to get a preliminary ballpark quote for budgetary purposes, both die costs as well as unit costs. Thanks. Paul W.
