Type of Equipment: Oil- immersed, housed in metal tank having fins on its sides. Above the covering plate there is a control cabinet fixed. Type of Rectifier: Silicon rectifier with an AUTO TYPE motorized REGULATION TRANSFORMER Type of Pole reverser: The pole reverser built up with 4 CONTACTORS Type of control: Motorized control fur 100 % stepless regulation. There are two major types of regulation, namely:- ? Manual control by push-buttons UP / DOWN ? Automatic control. The major component of this control is our electronic controller, type UIB. Different automatic control modes can be selected. With the appropriate selector switch, the following modes of operation can be pre-selected: 1. Charging of lead bars 2. Load reverse charge 3. Shorting 4. Charge I 5. Pause I 6. Charge II 7. Pause II 8. Charge III As far as necessary, further details about these modes of operation will be given later on. Operation: All push-buttons, selector switches, reference setters, indicator lamps, meters are mounted into the control cabinet. The are readily wired.
