Inquiry (采购产品): information request please Hello, I was doing a search on the internet and came across your site. I am involved in a project designing many aspects of a showroom for one of the leading electrical distributors in NYC. What I am looking for is a tube with an outside diameter of 1 1/2" and is 3/16" thick. What my dilemma is that I need another tube that is approximately the same thickness (3/16") but that will sleeve over the 1 1/2" tube with almost 0 tolerance. So just in case I am being a little confusing this is what this project is supposed to be: The 1 1/2" tube will ultimately have a base plate and a cap plate welded to it so that it can mount to the floor and ceiling. Before the plates get welded on, I need to take the second size tubing which is going to sleeve over the first tube. The second (outer) tube will have an inside diameter of 1 1/2" (maybe a little more so it can freely slide over the first tube) and will be about 3/16" thick giving it an outside diameter of approximately 1 11/16". The point of this is to have the outer tube cut into 5 pieces. A 2" piece to act as a spacer and this will slide on first and be at the bottom of the inner (1 1/2"). The second will be about 4' long and will slide on second. Then another 2" spacer, as well as another 4' piece and finally another 2" spacer at the top. Then the cap plate can be welded on the top of the post. The two 4' sections will have frames welded onto them cantilevering out about 4-6 feet thus on each post will be 2 independently swiveling frames. None of these lengths are confirmed, but I am inquiring to see what you have regarding the tubes with those diameters that which I have specified. Last but not least I am not sure what type of material you suggest these be. I currently have a setup to weld to steel only. But as for the friction in the tubes I am wondering what would be the best choice being that these panels will not be carrying more than 30lbs each. Sorry for the lengthy description I just wanted to be clear on this. I would appreciate your feedback. There is a lot of material that I would be needing if this works out. Thank you very much.
