Inquiry (采购产品): 5-6 Plastic balls I'm currently testing an idea for keeping livestock watering tanks free from ice in winter. After seeing plastic balls used for other similar applications, I would like try out the concept at our farm in Wisconsin. We raise horses, and the cost of electrically heating one stock tank for a month is around $150. I'm hoping to reduce this cost using the insulating properties of plastic balls floating on the surface of the water. Keeping in mind that the balls need to be around 5 to 6 inches in diameter to prevent the animals from picking them up. I'm wondering what material would be best suited for this application, and what would be the minimum that I could order (25-50?) so I can try out this idea an see if it will work.
