Attn: QA Department Beerse, November 23rd, 2005 Dear, Our company with production sites in Schaffhausen, Beerse, Latina, Val-de-Reuil and Cashel is frequently approached with questions concerning the presence of Phthalates in packaging materials and/or excipients that are part of our Drug Products. As we are trying to address this pro-actively we want to ask our active product ingredient, packaging material and excipient suppliers to provide us with a statement in which is specified that the material does not contain any Phthalates or that Phthalates are not used/produced in any step of the production process. If any Phthalates are present during the production process or part of the purchased active product ingredient, packaging or excipient, the statement needs to specify what kind of Phthalates and in which concentration they are present.
