Have been awarded government secret clearance with General Dynamics. Additional training in FPI penetrant testing at GEAircraft Engines/ Sun Country. EDUCATION: A.A.S. Degree in Nondestructive Testing. March 1998. Salt Lake Community College. Utah. (Study of MT, PT, RT, UT, ET, VT) Also, two semesters in Aviation Maintenance Program (Airframe & Power plant). B.A. Degree in Public Administration. San Diego State University. May 1992. EMPLOYMENT: NDE Quality Specialist 3/ Boeing Company, Seattle, WA (Feb, 2004 - Present) Perform development of NDE procedures for Boeing 767 aircraft and operate various NDE instruments (including AUSS-Automated Ultrasonic Scanning System) to evaluate composite hardware for the Commercial Airplanes In-Service and manufacturing Nondestructive Evaluation Group. Work with other team members on various research and development assignments in ultrasonic method. Develop ultrasonic porosity standards for the 787 NDI program. Currently supporting ultrasonic inspections at Integrated Defense Systems. Process Engineer/ Certifying Agent, (UT & RT Level II/ III Contract), General Electric Aircraft Engines, Albuquerque, NM (Nov. 2002 – Feb. 2004) Implement the daily operation of Nondestructive Testing Lab which conduct ultrasonic (Automated Data Acquisition System/ C-Scan & pulse echo contact) and radiographic testing on composite and aluminum engine components. Create new inspection plannings/ techniques of the part per approved drawing. Approve and certify procedures, equipments, personnel for the NDE labs. Establish & maintain conformance for the FAA audit requirements. Work with other quality team members to maintain continuous process improvements. Also work as a Level II to support the inspection of the composite hardware. UT & RT Level II, General Dynamics/ (Marion Composites), Marion, VA. (Dec. 1999 - June 2002) Perform Ultrasonic & Radiographic Inspection of composite parts including first and second stage bonds on the landing gear doors and winglets of military aircrafts. (Boeing C-17 Program) using pulse echo & through transmission technique (Krautkramer USN 52). Inspection of aluminum/ steel welds and composite parts using radiographic film & Real - Time method. Inspection of Aegis using bond master resonance method. (Secret Security Clearance awarded in June 2002). RT Level II, Petersen Inc. Ogden, UT (Feb. 1999 to Jan. 2000) Perform Radiographic Inspection of steel welds on sub booster rocket motor casing of the Saturn Rockets using Phillips 420 KV & Seifert Tubes. Create radiographic techniques for welds that are applied on various joints between the steel brackets and the casing. (Saturn Aerospace Rocket Program by Thiokol). RT Level I & II, Golden State Castings. Ogden, UT (Aug. 1997 to Feb. 1999) Generate Radiographs of casting parts & perform Radiographic Inspection of investment steel casting parts for various customers including Boeing , Bell, and Lockheed Martin. Promoted from Level I to Level II in RT.
