We are non-profit, tax-exempt organization. Presently, we are providing inpatient long-term substance abuse treatment for over 400 men and women. Our organization has been servicing New York City for over 25 years. The problem of drugs, crime, guns, teen pregnancy, and homelessness are pressing issues in our communities and every family and local business has been affected by one or more of these social problems. These problems must be addressed and resolved. They are social issues that affect all of us. During the time we been in service, we have developed a network of services for people who are in need: school drop-outs, pregnant teens, substance abusers and others with diverse mental and health conditions. In addition to food and shelter we offer educational and trade training, anger management and life skills classes. We strive to redevelop lives of our clients, one person at the time, by helping them become productive members of society. Unfortunately, due to extensive budget cuts, we find ourselves in a time of need. Which is why we are asking Corporate America, local businesses and Good Samaritans, such as yourself, to give us a hand in never-ending battle against drugs, poverty and crime. For that reason, we are humbly asking you to donate us vinyl tile to renovate floor in the dining room at our facility.
