I spoke with Kent Renegar yesterday and he said I should contact Hibco to explore any possible job oppurtunities. I tried checking the Hibco website but it is currently down. I have recently graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems. In addition to my education, I worked for Bean Design & Advertising in Hickory, N.C. while my fiancé continued her education in Asheville. While at Bean, I utilized my skills to set up customer inventory databases which customers accessed through Bean’s web site. I also worked Tech Support for DSL and dial up user for four months with Bellsouth. I have also recently completed a six month contract with Bank of America’s Corporate Information Security Department, where as a Business Analyst, I was responsible for sorting data in many different formats, and preparing it for use in litigation. I am currently a manager at Bookland/Books-a-Million where my responsibilities include handling customer questions and concerns, inventory maintenance, associate training, and basic day to day store operations. I believe you will find that my ability to utilize my IT skills learned at college, my enthusiastic work ethic, good organizational habits, attention for detail, and ability to work well with others would be an asset to Hibco Plastics Inc. I am located in Statesville, but hoping to move closer to Lexington because my fiance' works for Childress Vineyards. I am available for immediate employment.
