Inquiry (采购产品): Letter of Support Dear Sir/Madam: I am writing to see if we can get a letter of support for our work that, we believe, would be of interest to your company. We are a High Tech company just outside Chicago specializing in IR detectors and devices R&D. We are writing a proposal to get funds through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program sponsored by DoD. This work will create a model based on molecular dynamics (MD) that can predict the specific Quantum Dot Superlattice (QDSL) heteroepitaxial structures that will grow, given various factors such as growth temperature, flux rate, spacer thickness, etc. We will model AlGaN/GaN heterostructures as they have attracted a great deal of theoretical and experimental interest because of their applications in high-power microwave devices, in high-frequency field effect transistors and in blue light-emitting diodes, among others. We would like to commercialize this software package in Phase II or Phase III stage of this work and it is important that we obtain letters of support from the industry regarding the relevance and importance of this work to the field.
