Inquiry (采购产品): hardening 1080 I have a punch press part I'm machining from 1080. There is a 1 1/4 #12 thread top center, and a 1.002 hole to receive the punches. Is there any shrinkage or growth from the hardening process? Do I need to compensate for it? Approx cost to harden, time to do so??
