White Grease for Bearings Inquiry (采购产品): White Grease for Bearings One of our customers who is a big manufacturer of bearing hinges, would like to import white grease. We need to grease the ball bearings and the button tips with the pin inside, as marked in the image.The viscosity of the grease has to be quite high. As the grease is to be used in hinges, it has to be thick in consistency otherwise the grease tends to come out when the hinges rotate. Also it is very important that the viscosity should not reduce with the increase in temperature. Even at the atmospheric temperature of 48 deg. C, the grease should not come out of the hinges. The hinges in which the grease is put, are used in areas where the temperature goes to 48 deg. Celsius also- so the grease should not melt and come out.According to the customer, one simple check could be as follows If the grease is put on two fingers of a hand, and these two fingers are brought close to each other, the fingers should tend to slightly stick to each other. When these two fingers are pulled apart, there should be a continuous wire like formation of the grease stretching from this one finger to the other finger.With your expertise you can develop the grease for the purpose and you can arrange to send the sample for approval.
