Inquiry (采购产品): Custom Cutting equipment We are interested in finding a designer / fabricator of special application die cutting equipment capable of building small die cutters to precision cut 40 pt. foil laminated paperboard. Are you design/ build / assemble capable with respect to special applications die cutting equipment? Our objective is to hand place pre-formed rectangular foil laminated paperboard lids on mandrels made of soft steel (or suitable alternative), for the purpose of cutting (trimming) and stripping 4 sides of the lid from the outside, using hardened changeable steel rule dies. The cuts must be extremely clean and precise. Placement on the mandrel must be by hand but removal of scrap following cutting, and removal of finished lids from the mandrels, for placement on a packing conveyor must be automatic. Cutting and stripping gross speeds need to be in the 35-40 units per minute range on lids that ranges in size from 8" x 6" x 2" (LWD) or smaller so multiple station intermittent motion equipment is viable. A compact foot print is also desirable as the equipment will be placed in line with connecting conveyors that present the preformed lids to the die cutter operator. Multiple SKU's, shapes and sizes will be involved and all will change annually. Thus, dies will be an ongoing challenge in terms of customer service and response time. The need is for a creative equipment vendor, knowledgeable with respect to cutting with steel rule dies and in-depth experience with special applications die cutting equipment development. I am under contract as a special project consultant to the vendor charged with the responsibility of printing and forming the paperboard lids. I have acted in a similar capacity on projects with this vendor for Proctor & Gamble, Dannon, Campbell Soup, and Nestles.
