Inquiry (采购产品): Thermostat fan problem I recently had a R410 air conditioning system with an air handler with heater, compressor, new line set and new junction box installed along with 2 ducts and a return. The AC co. put in a programable White-Rodgers thermostat at first. I wasn't happy with the operation and cooling with that thermostat. NOTE: the fan came on periodically while set on auto even when the system was turned off. The AC co. put in another White-Rodgers thermostat 1F56W-444. I like the way it cools the house better and it doesn't come on and off almost every 15 minutes like the programable one did. NOTE: the fan on this one too comes on when the system is turned off. In both instances the fan was set on Auto. There is only the choice of Auto or On for the thermostat fan. The other side has a choice of cool, heat and off for the system. I read in the instructions for the 1F56W-444 thermostat that the fan shouldn't come on when set on auto and the system is turned off.
