Sensor Information Inquiry (采购产品): Sensor Information By way of introduction, I am Dennis Weger and am a Sr. R & D Engineer, reporting out of Parker - Hannifin Aerospace's Hydraulic Systems Division (HSD), Kalamazoo, MI, USA. I have the responsibility to lead a team to design and implement a new aerospace product line into commercial airline platforms (aftermarket and new designs). This product will require many sensors per shipset, and will be installed into hydraulic systems (up to 4000 psi, red oil and/or Skydrol). I am currently developing a sensor plan, therefore am researching all available sensor types. As part of my research, I am considering wireless transmission as well as battery powered, along with any other unique designs that would offer an advantage (either, weight, cost, reliability, performance, etc.). I would like to converse with you on your available sensors, specifically those that are wireless and/or any unique or "state of the art" products that you may offer. In order to clarify my questions, making it easier for you to respond, I have prepared a form (see attached Sensor Response Form NoRev.doc). I ask that you complete the form and return to me. If you prefer the form in the native Access format (2.7 MB filesize), notify me and I can email it to you. My initial questions, as indicated on the form, are: 1. What sensors are available; types? wireless? battery powered? aerospace qualified? 2. Theory of operation 3. Previous or existing applications 4. Reliability (MTBF, MTBR, Failure Immunity, etc.) 5. Performance/interface requirements (power in (omit if battery powered), signal out (omit if wireless), weight, size, associated SW, etc.); I prefer to see the specification document that component meets or was designed to as well as an installation type drawing 6. What we'll have to do to make product Aerospace compatible, if it is not already (are you interested in new product development?) 7. $ (General range of prices - catalog/brochure level of estimates) I am wanting information on the following sensor types: Pressure (delta and absolute) Flow Temperature Torque Position Fluid Condition (TAN, Water Content, Particle Count, Viscosity) Vibration/Noise You may consider this an informal RFI in order to determine who I will send RFIs to (at this point any necessary proprietary agreements will be put into place).
