Samsung is constructing Pyung Taek LNG Tank Terminal #11 - #14 Project as a leading contractor and also a very strong prospective candidate for the next LNG Tank Project (total 6 tanks) to be ordered from Korea Gas Corporation in 2006. In connection with LNG Tank projects, we are looking for competent supplier for the supply of 9% Ni Steel plate (ASTM A553 type 1). We would like to get the all prequalification document together with the quotation from your esteemed company to process the approval from our client, Korea Gas Corporation. This is very strong and urgent inquiry and your kindest reply will be greatly appreciated. If conditions are met, we are willing to have a long term contract with you for the LNG tank construction, which are expected to last for the coming 10 years. To ASTM A 20 edition 2001 / All plates shall be ultrasonically tested in accordance with ASTM A 578M. 3) Thickness range: 5 ~ 34mm 4) Width ranges: 1300 ~ 3600mm 5) Length: 7m or others 6) Tempering temperature: in the range 565 to 635 centigrade 7) Chemical requirements: ~ Carbon: 0.08% (max) ~ Manganese: 0.90% ~ Phosphorus: 0.008% ~ Sulphur: 0.005% ~ Silicon: 0.15 ~ 0.40% ~ Nickel: 8.50 ~ 9.50% 8) Tension requirement: ~ Tensile strength: 690 ~ 825 (N/mm2) ~ Yield strength: 585 (N/mm2) ~ Elongation (%): 20.0 2.
