Dear Sir/Madam, This is in reference to my search for some suitable business opportunity of finding a partner compnay in US for textile exports from Pakistan. I have come across your company name through internet and writing you my companys breif introduction. I worked for 10 years for one of the largest vertically integrated textile companies in the region "Nishat Mills Limited" and was looking after sales for Oceania, South Africa & Far Eastern countries. I left the company in Dec 04 as Deputy General Manager Marketing and now running my own sourcing & supply chain management business. Presently our customers base are in Australia, New Zealand & Philipinnes. Having known the insight of textile industry in Pakistan and the relationships we have, we are working with the major manufacturers in the country. The product line we are currently working on is: 1) Middle to Better end lined and coated curtains (different styles) 2) Institutional textiles (Commercial Sheeting, towels, hospital linen) 3) Middle to better end top of the bed products (Rotary printed, panel printed and dyed) 4) Jacquard fabrics 5) Higher thread count beddings 6) Better end Towels 7) Mass market beddings (bed in a bag etc) 8) Light weight denim beddings We are working with one the finest manufacturers in the industry and do get their better service, levels and pricing thus giving an edge to my principal companies over their competition. We also have our own independent quality dept which inspects the goods in-line and packed. Our supplied products (institutional bed linen, towels) are currently accredited by Australian Wool Testing Authority (AWTA) and RMIT which are considered as one of the most toughest fabric testing authorities. Our shipments also gets passed by independent inspecting companies like SGS and goes to intitutes like Queensland Hospital, Auckland Hospital, Marriot hotels, Hyatt Regency Hotels, Shangri La Hotels. Now after consolodating Oceanic business, I am interested in exploring US market since I believe with the services we can offer and the success we have got in Oceania, there is a lot we can offer to US market. Being anxious to break into US market I am open to all recomendations/suggestions. I am planning to travel to NY sometime second week April and would appreciate if I can get time for a meeting.
