Inquiry (采购产品): Automotive Application Hello, my name is Anil Pitta. I am a materials engineer for Honeywell in the Consumer Products Division. We manufacture after market products, which you may recognize as FRAM, Prestone, Autolite and Bendix. I work in the FRAM product side for air filteration. One of my projects is to develop a new high durability engine air filter. The component I am contacting you about is in regards to the screen used in the filter, which is used to provide strength in supporting the filter media. The current screen is in steel, and I would like to change this into a plastic (PA) material. Due to the nature of the engine compartment and the requirements for this product - a polypropylene material would not be acceptable for long term usage.
