No: 1886 Closing Date: 07/03/2006 No. of Pages: Three (3) SUB : REQUEST FOR QUOTATION – HCL ROAD TRAILER TANKER Dear Sir, Please quote your best CIF price to supply the following items: S/No. Description Qty Unit 1 Complete fabrication supply and rubberlining of HCL, (33%) Road Trailer Tanker as per following details.Capacity: 25m3 = 1 unit. / Each : 27m3 = 1 unit / Each . Please indicate the Manufacturer’s name, Delivery time and the Gross Weight. Please indicate the Freight Charges as follows: Gross weight up to 10 kgs. - Freight by DHL or Any other Courier Gross weight up to 100 kgs. - Air Freight Gross weight above 100 kgs. - Sea Freight We look forward to receiving your quotation by return fax. Materials Section -2- SCOPE OF WORK The Fabrication of Trailer Tanker: 1. Tanker material shall be A285 GR. C only. 2. Shell thickness shall be 8 mm and dish end thickness 10 mm strictly. 3. Tanker shall be with 3 equal compartments. 4. Each compartment shall have separate manhole and outlet nozzle with sample point of 1”. 5. The internal partitions between compartments shall be made with dish end and Baffles shall be provided between compartments (with ground smooth for R/Lining). 6. All three outlets nozzle shall be connected to a main header with individual isolation valves and a common outlet valve. 7. All pipe nozzles shall be A106 GR. B Sch 40 seamless. 8. All flanges shall be A105 SOFF (only), 150# as per ANSI B16.5. 9. Flanges shall be straddled the centerline. 10. Safety walkways shall be provided with collapsible hand rails (folding type), with the ladder on the rear side. 11. Hose tray shall be provided on both side of the tanker along with proper hose fixing clamps. 12. Valance shall be provided on the top of tanker to avoid acid spillage. 13. Emergency panel board shall be provided on all sides of the tanker to display the poster of the size 700 mm (L) x 400 mm (B). 14. Fire extinguisher stand shall be provided. 15. Welding shall be carried out as per ASME sec. IX. -3- 16. Radiography test of weld seams and Hydro test shall be carried out. 17. Vendor shall specify the complete technical specifications/details for chassis - overall dimensions of the chassis, tanker, chassis frame beam material (high tensile fine grain steel) king pin, landing gear, (of Jost make only), suspension, type of axle and capacity (BPW preferred), breaking systems (WABCO), tires with spare wheels, electricals (Hella make). Rear bumper, painting and the accessories like spare wheel carrier, toolbox, small water tank, mudguard and mud flaps. RUBBER LINING 1. 4 mm thickness hard ebonite rubber lining with hardness 70 ± 5 on shore ‘D’ scale. 2. Material shall be suitable for Hydrochloric acid (HCL) 33% services at temperature range from 10 Deg. To 55 Deg. C. 3. Blair makes or SGL ACOTEC make rubber material preferred. 4. Vendor shall provide the complete technical data sheet and MSDS of the rubber material offered for our technical evaluation. 5. Vendor shall provide the reference list of some of the major customers for our reference. 6. Complete rubberlining procedures shall be provided. 7. The complete tanker shall be internally rubber lined including the pipes, nozzles, flanges with hard ebonite rubber and hose tray and valance shall be rubber lined by soft butyl rubber with hardness 60 ± 5 on shore ‘A’. GENERAL TERMS: 1. All the necessary material test certificates, inspection reports shall be furnished alongwith supply / prior to supply and quality assurance plan (QAP) 2. All the detailed engineering / fabrication drawing shall be submitted for our approval before manufacturing of the Road trailer Tanker. 3.
