Inquiry (采购产品): solubility of Al 3003 Hello, I am dealing with an aluminum aerator that is designed for the removal of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide. They estimate the level of pH entering the aerator is 6.1 to 6.2 I’ve researched and was wondering if you concur that typically the range of least solubility for aluminum compounds is in the pH range of 5.5 – 7.5? If this is true, then would the aluminum chosen (3003) not be suseptible to corrosion. Or should we change to 5052? Or is it inevitable and should we paint the interior. The cost is substantial enought to inquire an expert opinion. Thanks for all your help.
