Inquiry (采购产品): Casting wax We are winding heavy copper wire coils on plastic skeleton coil-forms that must be made as thin as possible for electrical reasons. Because of heavy winding forces, I need to support the form while winding and fastening the copper turns in place, but once the coil is finished and all set, then I want to remove the extra support and leave only the skeleton form inside. I have tried soluble plaster and also paraffin wax, but the plaster is messy and the wax expands and breaks things when it melts unless I make a hollow slush casting which is a fair amount of trouble. Can you recommend a castable wax or other fugitive material suitable for this application? I will need a couple of pounds to try it out; more if it works OK. Thanks for your help.
