The reaction medium consists of Bromine, Hydrogen Bromide, Monochlorobenzene (MCB), Hydrogen Peroxide and Bisphenol A as suspension. The details of the heat exchanger are as under: Heat removal capacity: 80,000 Kcal/hr Process fluid inlet temp.: 25°C Cooling medium (Brine) inlet temp.: -14°C Density of process fluid/slurry: 1.2 kg/liter Specific heat of process fluid: 0.6 Kcal/kg/°C Reactant/solvent should not permeate through PTFE.
