Employment History: Perkin Elmer Electro-Optics : Jan 2005 - Dec 2005 I assembled and troubleshot electronic UV, Ultra -Violet flash systems , medical devices, power supplies , blood protein analyzers and other optical electro-mechanical systems. I worked from prints , schematics , BOM s and personal technical experience. I soldered to 610-B quality level on a daily basis. Quality control was my job. I trouble-shot and repaired RMA s as well. Often, I kitted the large projects myself. Samina Electronics : Aug 2004 - Sept 2004 Temp Solderding Position - Smt Fine Pitch Through Hole Flextronics International: April 2011- June 2004 Temp Solderding Position - Fiber Optics , Smt Through Hole , RF Testing , RF Calibration Mass Audio Visual: 2002 - June 2004 I was contracted to set up computers, data projectors, screens, microphones and audio systems for clients at the Portsmouth, NH Sheraton. I learned WIN 2000 Proffesional software and A+ networking skills. Flextronics International: May2001 - December 2001: Bench Electronics Technician Flextronics was the Cabletron manufacturing contractor. I preformed the same duties as when I worked for Cabletron manufacturing. Duties included trouble-shooting complex digital networking devices to the component level, repair and soldering components. Henshel - SPD - L3 Communications : March 1999 - March 2001: Bench Electronics Technician Henshel is a Military - Spec., ISO. 9000 Manufacturing Company specializing in Integrated Voice Data Sytems , advanced circiut breakers , ship course indicators, sound amplifiers , synchro - servo systems, and other advanced products for the Defense Department. This technical position required that I maintain product flow through the electronics department. My Primary duties involved troubleshooting complex digital PCB's and electro-mechanical gear to the component level, paperwork, and spotting component trends. I was trained to MIL - 2000A soldering spec. and received certification. Secondary duties included responding to RMA's and MDR's. I became familiar with Windows 98 and Windows 2000. I sucessfully aquired a FCC Technician's Class Licence. Wall Industries : May 1997 - March 1999 Power Supply Electronics Technician This position required me to maintain manufacturing product lines , troubleshoot switching power supplies to the component level and repair them. I recieved solder training and certification . Wall Industries is a high volume , ISO. 9000, manufacturing enviromemt specializing in providing power supply solutions for the telecomunications market. Typical test equipment used in circuit analysis includes O - Scopes, Ohmeters, ammeters, shunts, power analizers, microscopes, electronic loads, and automatic test equipment. Familiarity with through hole as well as Surface Mount Technologies. Cabletron Networking Solutions : January 1996 - January 1997, New Products Electronic Technician This position required me to troubleshoot new networking technologies such as Gigabit - Ethernet, Tokin Ring, Fiber Optic,and Asynchronous Transfer Mode systemsto the component level and repair them. I developed skills to troubleshoot complex digital systems comprised of Through - Hole components and (SMT) Surface Mount Technology. I utilized the classic troubleshooting equipment as well as computer driven diagnostics. I was trained to solder large components as well as fine pitch components. This position stressed feedback into the manufacturing process , prototyping, ECO's quality control and engineering. I became familiar with a variety of single chip microcomputers, RISC , CISC dynamic and static RAM, and computer architecture. I developed a working Understanding of Windows 3.1, Windows 95 , and DOS . United States Marine Corps : January 1986 - January 1990, Advanced Aviation Electronics Technician, FLR-IR Forward Looking Radar Infa Red Systems Bench Tech My schooling included 80 weeks formal training in electronics , calibration, radar systems , infared systems , quality control , and saftey. My primary duties included repair and periodic maitenance of Aviation Radar Reconnaissance systems to the component level. I developed a strong working familiarity with O - Scopes, Digital Storage O - Scopes, Digital Multi - Meters, ammeters, RF meters , spectrum analizers, thermisters, klystrons, vacuum systems, cryostats, precision optics, GPS , analog theory, digital theory, schematic reading and circuit analysis. I successfully obtained a Confidential Security Clearance. I was Honorably discharged in 1994. Schooling : Cabletron New Hire Networking Class - 2 Weeks - Graduated University of Maine at Orono: January 1990 - December 1995 - Student of the Sciences I completed 118 out of 120 credits for my BS in Biochemistry although my larger goal was to learn all modern science. Relevant subjects studied include Engineering Physics, Calculus ( 4 Semesters ), Chemistry ( 7 Semesters ), Psychology.
