The roof is made of Spanish clay tile, supported in masonry, and that masonry, is supported on canes and those canes are supported on the beams ( weevils are eating). The length of those round wood beams is about 16 feet (5m), and its diameter of about 3-4 inches ( 100 -120 mm). They are set at 45 degrees, to cover distance between walls of about 23 feet ( 7 m) May be you can give me some information about your plastic alternatives, for the beams, in round plastic beams that look as wood, if there are, and the cost of them. I will appreciate if you let me know enough information, first if it is possible to replace the current wood beams for plastic beams and second to inform about the package ( dimension and weight to transport them), . I'm sure , if we can get a good solution, that will be duplicated for several neighbors who suffer the weevils attack in their roofs.
