Inquiry (采购产品): HotSpot Welder I have a HotSpot TC welder that was passed on to me from a retiring co-worker. He did not leave me an operation manual and gave only a quick description of how to use the welder. I've tried following his directions, but the unit is not "firing" when I push the button. The red light on the panel is lit with a... "buzzer"? sounding. Does this indicate that the unit is ready to discharge, or does it mean something else? The unit I have has the base block (1" x 1" cross-section graphitic block), and a pencil-type attachment with a chisel-graphitic insert. Are these used together to arc across/through the thermocouple wires? Is additonal grounding required? Any information that you can provide me on this unit's operation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Sincerely, Jerry Kocan Sr. Project Engineer GM Powertrain-Saginaw **** Hidden Message ***** Jerry Kocan Saginaw Metal Casting Operations 1629 N.
