Inquiry (采购产品): Information Dear Sir/Madam I am a A-level student studying physics in the UK, and we are to make a presentation on a material of our choice for our coursework. I have chosen bullet-resistant glass as my material, and am in the process of researching and compiling data and information. It would help me greatly if you could answer any of the following questions: Why is polycarbonate used? Why a layered structure? What are the optical/mechanical properties of glass and polycarbonate? (some numbers here would be useful!) How is the kinetic energy of a bullet estimated, and what forms of energy is it converted to on impact? How does one-way bullet-resistant glass work? What is the cost of bullet-resistant glass, compared to normal glass? As I said before it would help me a lot if you could answer any of these questions and I would be grateful for any reply received.
