Inquiry (采购产品): Possible China Connection Gentlemen, I am an American expat living in Hong Kong. I have almost 30 years in medical devices. One of my foci here is to help US companies become established in Hong Kong and China. Last September I met an ABC (American Born Chinese) at a trade show in Shenzhen. He is currently employed by a US orthopedics company, and lives in the US. He is looking to return to China with an orthopedics or other medical device company. Based upon my knowledge and experience, there is no significant orthopedics manufacturer in Hong Kong or China. One or two of the larger international firms have sales offices in Asia (Hong Kong, Shanghai or Singapore), but there appears to be no local manufacturing. With China and India representing 1/2 the world's population, and with their healthcare budges increasing 18-20% annually, this represents a huge opportunity for growth. Especially when you consider that the US market is growing at perhaps 5% annually, and the EU market is virtually flat. If this opportunity interests you, please respond.
