The cable tie shall be protected against ultra violet rays. The humidity absorption shall be less than 1%. The tearing force of the cable ties should not be less than 280N for size(a), 510N for size(b), size(c) and 750N for size(d) 5. The cable ties shall withstand the action of bases, salty atmosphere, oil, grease and crude oil orgrivaties.6. The cable ties shall be of good dielectric strength and provide satisfactory electrical insulation. 7. The cable tie shall be able to clamped without the need for any special tool.8. Type test are intended to verify compliance of the design of the specified standard. The product shall have successfully passed the following type test conducted by recognized laboratory:- (a) Tearing force test: The cable tie shall not unblock from the tie when a separating force of the value in section 4(above) applied for 1 minute. Test report shall be given as evidence. (b) Ultra violet test: The cable tie shall undergo UV test meet the requirement of IEC 62275 or latest issue, or other equivalent International Specification. Test result for protection against ultra violet rays shall be given as evidence.9.
