Inquiry (采购产品): Centrifugal Fan Brake Our customer has 2 existing large centrifugal exhaust fans that have shaft diameters of 3 7/16". Each fan motor is a 75 H.P. 1800 RPM 460/60/3 electric motor. The fan RPM is 1000 RPM. The fan wheel is 49" diameter and the overall fan height is 8' high. These fans are installed in a redunant capacity. When one fan is operating, the other fan is shut-off. The fan that is shut-off has a tendancy to "windmill" and the fan wheel runs backwards. Do you have either an electric fan brake or an electric motor brake that will maintain the fan wheel and motor in a stopped position when the power is shut off to the fan motor? If so, please send me a quote and drawing of the brake. What is the delivery lead-time? Thanks! Chuck Livengood; Sales Engineer Colby Equipment Co., Inc. P.O.
