Inquiry (采购产品): Urgent requirement of dry vacuum pumps Dear Sir We are in need of dry vacuum pumps for our Fatty Alcohol plant in Philippines. I had discussed with Mr. Desmond yesterday and he suggested that I send this enquiry. A liquid ring vacuum pump would not be very suitable as the majority of process vapour is methanol which would condense in the liquid ring and this would lead to severe loss of methanol + effluent problems. We therefore are looking for a dry vacuum pump and I understand Ingersoll Rand manufactures these kind of pumps. The specs including the composition of vapour is attached. The attached datasheet gives the vacuum requirement for 2 systems namely the refining column & ester removal reactor (marked in red). The system design would be on the minimum vacuum requirement.
