Inquiry (采购产品): Seal/barrier Hello, I have an application in which we are trying to design a barrier to prevent wind and particulates carried by the wind from being driven into a .060" space between a moving and a stationary part. The material can be flexible or rigid, and must withstand -40 to +85°C, in virtually any outdoor environment. We'd like something that can be mounted easily to the O.D. of the unit. We have considered a "rubber band" type seal that would be installed on the O.D. of the stationary part, but are concerned that such a solution would contact the rotating part, which could cause problems for the motor, and that it may not be rugged enough to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. A semi-rigid band that would contact only the non-rotating part that could be assembled to the unit is another possibility.
