Inquiry (采购产品): Leather footwear - contract sewing we are in search of a US-based contract sewing facility that can sew our leather baby shoes. We are in Virginia but currently use a factory in China to produce our goods. We would really like to bring this operation into the USA. All of our shoes have colorful leather uppers with black suede soles, fabric inner lining and padding between the fabric and suede. We are a growing company, sometimes we have small orders to replenish stock, other times we have large orders -- it depends on the needs of our retailers and retail customers. How do you work with clients to develop products? We have a standard shoe in 4 sizes, then we have different designs. We typically provide our current factory with a digital rendering of the art, then they produce a sample for us to approve, make the dies, then produce the shoes. For reorders, they just produce additional quantities. What kinds of leathers do you offer? We currently use pigskin but are open to using cowhide -- as long as a range of colors are available.
