Inquiry (采购产品): Heat exchanger quote I am interested in a plate-type heat exchanger (or another type that meets the requirements) to be used in lab scale desalination by membrane module. Both liquids entering to the heat exchanger are going to be water. The hot side is the one of interest, which is going to enter to the membrane. In my experiments I vary the temperature between runs, and then I have to maintain it constant. But the temperature is increases after the membrane module, therefore I have to cool it down before recycle it. Here is the value that I calculated for the heat that is transferred to the water during the membrane step (hot side of the HE) 2.75 x 10^5 Btu/hr. Hot side: inner temp=77F outer=50 Cold side:inner temp=39.2F I am planning to use the chill water of the building as the liquid running through the cold side. The temperature at which it exits the HE is not of importance. Neither is the pressure drop or the flow rate of this side. But on the hot side we need to control its flow rate, usually between 0.07 to 0.25 GPM, using a PD Pump. I hope it gives you an idea of what I am looking for. Please let me know if you need any other information or parameters. Thank you for your help and time. **** Hidden Message ***** Jessica Rodriguez 4133 Seamans Center Iowa City, IA 52242 USA Company: University of Iowa, Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Department Phone: 787-210-7572 Fax: 319-335-1415 E-mail: jroiguez@engineering.uiowa.edu **** Hidden Message ***** jroiguez@engineering.uiowa.edu
