Inquiry (采购产品): SUMP BUDDY-MOD#300402 DEAR SIR OR MADAM; This is in regards to failure of this unit in three seperate areas. I installed this unit to protect my basement in case of electrical or standard (also a Zoeller) pump failure. It worked well during the 2004 August power outage in Michigan. Recently however I noticed my pump (regular) running about every 15 minutes. This being unusual, I looked into this problem. I discovered that the SUMP BUDDY had failed, with a major crack in the body spewing water, when the main pump ran. I removed the SUMP BUDDY, and found the reason was the water return valve was not working. I removed the unit, cleaned up the ZOELLER PUMP, with the pipe sealed (cap and duck tape)in the tube where the SUMP BUDDY was previously attached. I purchashed a new ZOELLER HOME GUARD sump pump MOD# 502, which I am hoping will make my basement safe once again. I wrote this just hoping you may want to replace the defective unit, although the warranty clearly expired. If not, I would be willing to ship the defective parts back to you, (not to CANADA) for your inspection.
