Inquiry (采购产品): Cansolv FCC filtration Hi, Cansolv is involved in scrubbing SO2 gases form a variety of sources. We are presently developing a process for the petroleum industry and we noticed that our system could be in danger of scrubbing FCCU (fluid catalytic cracker unit) fines at the rate of 40 Kg/hour. We are in the process of adapting technology capable of handling these particulates. The main constrains for the filtration process that we need involves maximum retention of the scrubbing solvent (due to its cost) and minimizing maintenance of the separation unit. Besides, the FCCU particulates seems to de degrading the amine in the solution (some lab tests are being conducted) so we would like to get them out as quickly as possible of the process (no accumulaton). Here are some specs: Process description 25-45 Kg/hour particulate loading in a 3500 gpm solvent recirculating scrubbing. The filtation system would be placed in a slipstream of about 15% Solvent composition Di-amine (Mw 150) : 25% Sulfates : 8% Sulfites : 1% Thiosulfate : <0.2% Density : 1.14 Kg/m3 Viscosity : 3.6 cp @ 50 Celsius pH : 4.5-5.5 Service temp : 50-65 Celsius Particle size distribution 0-2.5 microns 50% 0-5 microns 100% The density of the particle in air is 0.8-0.9 g/cc We are looking for complete removal of particles above 0.4 micron (if possible) by the treatment of slipstream of the recirculating amine solution (approx 500 gpm) with the addition of a floccuant (still to be determined). We believe that a steady-state concentration of <100 ppm of particulates could be acceptable in the process. We are also interested in conceiving the amine solution trapped in the sludge once it has been separated form the process solvent. I was intrested in your clean in place filters, do you thing they could handle the job?
