Inquiry (采购产品): Acid Mine Corrosion of Steel Pipe I have a project requiring the transfer of small flows of marginally acidic underground mine effluent (pH from 5.8 to 6.5) with high levels of zinc 100 to 200 ppm and relatvely low levels of other metals (including copper). I would like to use steel pipe due to the high presures(350 psi) and lower costs but am unsure if the steel would corrode. Zn is higher than Fe on the galvanic series. I have detailed chemical and physcial analysis of effluent. Could you advise? At what cost?
