Inquiry (采购产品): Source of Supply of Small O Rings I restore vintage Mitchell fishing reels. The Mitch 304 and 314 especially, were manufactured and distributed as early as 1954 and 1961 respectively. What happens is that previous owners removing the housing cover over time to clean the reel causes depressions in the holes for the housing cover screws from tightening the screws too much when reassembling the reel. As a result the restoration effort is interrupted when reassembling the reel and having the housing cover screws leaving a depression above them which compromises the aesthetic expression of the reel and it cannot be displayed respectably. The only remedy for that is to take the small O Ring from the component of a disposable cigarette lighter that emits the flame. That works perfect when threaded screw shaft is inserted through the O ring hole up to the flat top of the screw. The O ring settles nicely into the housing cover hole and the screw can be tightened down to fit snug and flush with the flat surface of the housing cover. What I am having to do is purchase a lot of cheap cigarette lighters ($3.00 for a pack of 6 each), removing the small O ring and throwing away the remaining components. Thus my question: Does your company manufacture an O ring that size? Really small fellers, these O rings. If yes, what would be the minimum lot a hobbiest would need to purchase to make it commercially feesable? Depending on if and what is quoted, I was thinking in the amount of 500. If the quote won't land me on the welcome mat of debtor's prison I would even consider a lot of 1,000.
