Inquiry (采购产品): suitability of 4340 for spaceframe dear sir/madam, We are considering using 4340 instead of 4130 to construct our space frame for our fsae car. I am just wondering what the suitability of 4340 is for this application? ie ease of welding, bending, etc? We are thinking of using it due to its higher uts and yield strength.
