Inquiry (采购产品): Replating I am restoring a 1930's drinking fountain for a public building. Parts of the water deliver apparatus need replating : the catch basin which is about 6 inches in diameter and 5 inches deep, and the upright water feed portion, 3 inches tall by a couple inches wide. The plating is worn off in an area about 4" in diameter at the lowest portion of the basin where the water drained away. I imagine that these pieces will have to be "unplated" then replated, as the surface of the basin is uneven from the worn away plating. They have nice heavy chrome plating otherwise. Can you give me a rough estimate of what it would take to do this work? And how long it would take?
