Inquiry (采购产品): AASC RFQ#5036A_1 Hello, I am in the process of working up a proposal for JPL on an 8'x9' carbon composite reflector dish. They are showing two process specifications that may be chosen when the contract comes around: o Vacuum deposited aluminum (VDA) coating of 10,000? (1μm) thickness, applied to the reflective surface of the dish, with an additional coating of 0.1-0.15 mm thick Alion S13 GP:6N/LO-1 white paint over the VDA coat. The vendor shall qualify the paint adhesion process from test coupons, prior to implementation on the flight unit. o Alternatively, use a coating of silicone oxide (SiOx) on the VDA, instead of the white paint. This may need treatment of the VDA coat to improve adhesion of the silicone oxide. The vendor shall qualify the silicone oxide adhesion process from test coupons, prior to implementation on the flight unit. Any information reguarding your ability to fullfil either of these requirements would be appreciated. thanks, phil **** Hidden Message ***** Phil Calvin 95206 USA Company: Applied Aerospace Structures, Corp Title: Estimator Phone: 209-983-3390 Fax: 209-983-3375 E-mail: pcalvin@aascworld.com **** Hidden Message ***** pcalvin@aascworld.com
