Inquiry (采购产品): useing acid to reduce rust Hi, In the course of time I spent as a welder I noted that a manufacturer of steel trailers used to brush an acid on rusty metal. When that dried, the rust was simply brushed off - then the metal could be painted. I'm not sure what kind of acid that would be. can you clue me in? I thought it may have been called olic acid but I'm not sure can sulfriac or hydricloric acid be used in the same way? Looking for a solution, James E.
