Our company, Innophos Fofatados de México, phosforic acid manufacturer, is interested in changing our actual FRP frames of our filter′s leaves. In our process is necesary to avoid as much as posible metal contact with our product stream,purified phosforic acid, so now we are using FRP frames and polypropylene cloth. The weak seal has been provoking leaks increasing contamination in our product. We are interested in some kind of leaves that offer no leaks but also solid and stable frame (alloy 20 or hastelloy G-30), internal plastic supports with an easy to wash and chemicals resistant cloth of polypropylene.
