Inquiry (采购产品): braiding My name is Doug Melanson. I am an engineer with Vision Sciences Inc. We design and build sopes for the medical field and current ly use a braided tube to reinforce part of our scope. Through feedback from docotrs we have found that they would like this section to be stiffer. I am attaching some specifications as well as pictures of the material and possible amounts of craid we would need over the next year. if you could have someone contact me at (508) 650-9971 x 252 I would appreciate it or if you can review the supplied info and quote that would be great. Item #1: We use this braided material to reinforce the insertion tubes of our small-diameter endoscopes. This material is currently sourced from an overseas vendor. Specs: ID = 2.5 mm Wire size = .06 mm Material = T304 SST fully annealed 32 carriers (flat) 4 round strands per carrier Short-term, we would like to try a new version of this braid with a higher stiffness (harder wire?). Quantity: 3300 ft per year (less if larger diameter) Note that if it is stiff enough, we could eliminate the double-layer braid and make our product smaller in diameter Long-term, we would consider sourcing the current low stiffness braid: Quantity: 1500 ft per year (less if larger diameter) <051104 1336 A03787 32 carrier scope wire braid 640.jpg> -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Item #2: We would like to source a braided material something similar to what is shown below. This material is used on the bending section of the scope, and is subjected to a lot of flexing, so the material needs to be soft and pliable. Specs: ID = .125" (approx.) Wire size = .002 to .003" thick x .004" wide Material = T304 SST fully annealed or similar 24 carriers 2 flat strands per carrier Quantity: 500 - 700 ft per year (less if larger diameter) <051122 1512a Fine mesh.jpg> <051122 1513 Fine mesh.jpg> **** Hidden Message ***** Doug Melanson 9 Strathmore Rd.
