Inquiry (采购产品): PVC application. Dear sirs, We manufacture some Hot Stick devices for use in the high voltage industry. We've always manufactured these Hot Sticks using PVC pipes with no problems. Recently we have been receiving some negative feedback from a high voltage testing facility indicating that they are seeing some failures with our product; using 100,000VDC per foot Previously this same test facility never had any failures during years of testing our product. We sent them some raw stock material for testing and this also failed their tests. These Hot Sticks are manufactured from the same stock that is found at Home Depot. I understand that there are special PVC pipes (like drinking water safe pipes) that might be equivalent or better than what we were using before. My question is that I would like to know if you can suggest any sort of specialized or treated PVC pipe material that will avoid this high voltage failure and improve our product. Please let me know your recommendations. **** Hidden Message ***** Eduardo Sanchez 3270 Executive Way N/A Miramar, FL 33025 USA Company: Advanced Test Products Title: Quality Systems Manager Phone: (954) 499-5472 Fax: (954) 499-5480 E-mail: eddie.sanchez@servicesolutions.spx.com **** Hidden Message ***** eddie.sanchez@servicesolutions.spx.com
