Inquiry (采购产品): Stereo Cables Hello, I am a member of the North Shore Model Railroad Club, Wakefield, MA. We are looking to replace our 1/4" to 1/4" stereo cables that run our controllers for our trains. The ones we have presently are home made from Radio Shack parts. We are looking to replace them with industrial strength coiled wire and very strong staight 1/4" stereo connectors. The layout is set up in blocks. Each block has a series of 1/4" female connectors that control the various controller boxes. This makes it so we can have multiple trains on the layout at the same time. When an operator uses a certain pin configuration such as #6, he must plug into #6 connector as the train moves throughout the layout. The cable and connector we are looking for must be able to stand abuse constantly. Plugging and uplugging the connector many times in one day of use is not uncommon. The cable and the attatched controller box controls the starting/stopping and speed of the train. Please advise. Do you know of any commercially available cables or should we have them made up? I await your response.
