Inquiry (采购产品): Mould cleaning method Dear Sir, I am a Graduate Trainee at Rolls Royce and am currently on a Design and Make project. We are a group of 4 and our task is to design and build an internal mould cleaning method. The moulds are used to produce gas turbine blades. It is to form one step in the lost-wax process after the intricate mould has been pre-fired (and the wax has been melted out). This is to prevent the occurrence of inclusions to reduce the scrap rate. One idea that we have is the use of a vacuum cleaning system. We would be very interested to know what cleaning methods you use at Ferralloy and any suggestions for companies and contacts that may deal with this area. Many thanks in advance.
