Inquiry (采购产品): Friction Washer I am a project engineer working on a friction component to be used in hinges in automotive interiors, such as bin lids. I can send you a drawing of the part, but it is basically a flat washer, 0.500" OD, 0.25" ID, .031" thick. If .031 is not a reasonable thickness, please quote your thinnest practical material. I need to know the friction coefficient of the material versus steel and brass. I need to know the maximum allowed compression. The application will see a lifetime requirement of from 10,000 to maybe 40,000 cycles. Environment is typical automotive interior temperature and humidity range. Tradeoffs are: 1. smooth, silent operation 2. constant friction over life 3. hign fricton coefficient 4. hign tolerance to compression 5. low cost Volume to quote 100,000. Actual application may be higher volume. **** Hidden Message ***** Ralph Hitchcock 150 Price Road Winsted, CT 06098 USA Company: Homer D.
