Quote for yurt top cover

Inquiry (采购产品): Quote for yurt top cover Hello, I'm interested in having your company make the roof top cover for a line of yurts I'm designing and will be manufacturing soon. We expect to sell 100 or so per year to start, and 300 to 400 per year within 5 years or so. We will be manufacturing two different yurt models -- a 16 foot model and a 24 foot model. Right now I'm working on the prototype for the 16 foot model. Once I'm satisfied with the design, I'll get an architectural engineer involved to recommend any modifications that may be necessary. Then I'll start on the 24 foot prototype. Hopefully you are already familiar with yurts. My roof design is a 12 sided polygon with a 30 degree roof pitch. It will have a roof opening at the center ring approximately 4' in diameter. Please see the attached drawing for clarification. (Sorry I couldn't attach an email to ThomasNet.com's email form. Can you send your email address and I'll forward the drawing?) The top cover will need to be made of durable light colored fabric that will allow some daylight to penetrate. Most yurt companies use a 18 to 19 ounce vinyl coated polyester fabric with an acrylic top coating. The usually offer a beige, tan, and a light gray color for the top cover. Basically, the top cover will need to be cut into 12 separate triangular panels of approximately 7' in length and about 4'6" wide at the lower end and about 1' wide at the top end. They will need to be welded together. Then, the bottom edge needs to be bent 60 degrees down and the welded seams pleated or cut and sewn to form a valance that hangs down over the edge of the roof about 3 inches. At the edge of the roof where the overlapping welded panels meet, straps need to be sewn in so that the top cover can be attached to a cable about 2" below and pulled taut at the corners. My guess is that 12 straps at the corners will hold the cover down taut and secure, but that's only a guess on my part. At the top edge, 24 grommets should be built in so that the top edge of the cover can be bolted to the center ring. Twelve of those grommets should be placed where the panels overlap. I hope you can visualize approximately what I need based on my description and the drawing I've attached. Can you give me an approximate quote and turnaround time? I'll be ready to move forward with the top cover in a week or two. At that time I can give you exact measurements, or I could bring the roof assembly and set it up for you so you can have it there to use as a model for fitting. Thanks for your help.
